New Additions

Ya….. Its about time that I got around to updating this blog……. To say that this was way overdue would surely be something of an understatement. What better way to kick things back in gear than a post that I am very excited to share with all of you!  If you haven’t heard- I am an AUNTIE! Yay! I was so honored to be able to take some newborn shots of my most adorable and handsome little nephew Dylan! I love him to pieces!! Here is the newly expanded Ball family! Love you guys!

A Winter Wedding

Last Saturday I was given the absolute honor to do wedding photos for my work colleague Chris and his beautiful bride Nancy! Their Fall wedding took place at the Castaway in San Bernardino. I had never been there before and it was a pretty cool location. It was a gorgeous day and the bride and groom along with their guest seemed to have a great time together! Congrats again to Chris and Nancy!  Here are some of my favorites from the day…..

David

It’s been a long while! But between house stuff and wedding stuff I have been uber swamped! Last week though my cousin David asked me if I could help him out with some headshots for an upcoming auditon. I was honored! We had a great time and got a few shots that will make for the start of a great portfolio! The heat tried to detour us but alas we succeeded! Here are some of my favorites from that day!

Red Rock

The first week of June I was so fortunate enough to spend sometime with my family-to-be. Every year the Akamine family travels from the Islands and the Mainland to the city that never sleeps, Las Vegas. It was a great time for me to get to know them and for them to catch up with each other. I feel so blessed to have been able to share that time with all of them. Aaron’s cousin Jessica also loves to photograph ( You should check out some of her shots! They are great! ) so we decided to take an afternoon photographing the Red Rock National Conservatory.  It was a great time! The colors and textures were amazing. We could have easily spent a couple more hours there! Check out some of the images from the day! Thanks to my impromptu models! You guys were great!

Logan Russel

Congrats to my good friends Jeremy and Jen Thompsen on the addition of their newest bundle of joy Logan Russel Thompsen! What a beautiful family! So glad I was able to take a day and get to know Lil Logan! Here are my favorites from the day………in my favorite format- black and white.

A few weeks ago my good friend Heather asked me to help her with her Valentines present for her fiance Ryan. This awesome couple was recently engaged this year and she wanted to surprise him with a date for there special day! I, of course, jumped at the opportunity! We went down to old town Redlands and had a great time shooting! She then took all the images from that day and made a book! It turned out soooo goood! I had to wait to post the images until after valentines day! It was soo hard! So without further delay…….Here are the pics we took from that day! Congrats Ryan and Heather! Alan- my big lil brudder!

OMG! My not so lil brother is graduating high school this year!!! Wow I remember when he was born and I realized that we were ten years apart. I kept thinking of all all the milestone birthdays he was going to have and how old I would be! I stopped at 18 because when he was 18 I would be 28!!!!  I could not even fathom that I would ever be that old!! haha! Well guess what! That day is here! I was so happy to do his senior pictures. So……some may call me biased but I think he is a super handsome guy! hahahaha! I am so proud of him! I hope he knows just how much I love him and how much he means to me!! Congrats Alan! My Family

Christmas day! Seems so long ago.  Yes, now I am posting all these images! ha ha! Here are a few of me and my family!! So fun for all of us to get together and celebrate as a family. Seems that life is making it more and more difficult for us to all be together. So it was a great day of celebrating the birth of our Savior and the joy of family. Thanks to the help of my great photo assistant/amazing boyfriend Aaron! Oh and a quick shout out to  my tripod (I was sooo excited to finally use it!!) Here are some of the images from that day! The Thompsen’s

Last month I was given the absolute honor of photographing my amazing friends Jen and Jeremy and their very handsome son Brayden! I have looked forward to this for a while now. It has taken a lil extra time to get these up……but I am so very happy and proud to finally post their pictures! We squeezed in a quick shoot at the end of december between rain showers at Ford Park in Redlands. It was a gorgeous day and with a lil coaxing we got Brayden to have a good time as well.  With out further delay- check them out!
