Odyssey

It is official! The SO. Cal winter weather is here! The leaves have finally all changed color and have been falling down. I cannot classify myself as a “winter” expert- being the SO. Cal native that I am.  According to such experts of a “real winter” the leaves are supposedly to have already fallen? Hence the given terminology of the “Fall Season” Allegedly this is a given and thus the point does not need to be argued. Ok so the intended point of this blog being that…. with all the cool wind blowing, the leaves have taken to the ground here in the Country of Reynolds. I thought they looked pretty cool. So have a look and see for yourself.

A couple of weekends ago Rocker, J-rod and myself took a break from life at Reynolds to experience the some of the great outdoors. Luckily this stretch of the “great outdoors” included a Starbucks just across the way because Rocker does not function without atleast one form of caffeine with in her bloodstream. It was a great break, and the city of Carlsbad as well as the surrounding beach cities were all that I expected them to be.  Sure- It was a little cold, but nothing that a fire did not take care of……along with the aid of a couple smores. I had a great time- could definitely see myself living in a small beach town.
