All Work and No Play? Or No Work and All Play?
June 26, 2008
So last week two of my long time flings finally met. Yes- it was a little tense at first but finally after all this time work and play hung out together. They actually got along really well. In fact at times it is hard to distinguish one from the other they are so similar!
If you haven’t already heard, let me tell you about the amazing people that I work with on the Loma Linda Pediatric Critical Care Transport Team. They are the very definition of a team. I love them! They are all intelligent, dedicated and hard working. They are pretty much just amazing people! I learn so much from them and lean on them all the time!
So we took our team pictures and, of course, I got way too excited and decided to break out my camera and call it a transport shoot! We had a great time with our AMR crew as well as our Mercy Air boys! When ever I am flying out on a call it always hits me what an amazing job I have. I mean…. who gets to do this! So check it out, an quick insight into of the life of a transport RN including- the view from the heli-pad as well as the flight suits in all their glory (they are ever so stylish!)

I know its been awhile since my last post……but rest assured this one is gonna be awesome!!!!! I am so excited to introduce you to this baby with whom you will all easily fall in love with! Lil Oliver is one serious dude! He is very deep and pensive in his baby ways! It has been said that he is very much his father’s son. However he must have picked up his mother photographical side- because he was glued to the camera and working it the entire time!! Ok with out further ado- Here is baby Oliver- the latest love of my life!
Sorry got a bit carried away- Its gonna be a long post!

So I was hanging out with my friend Monique the other day and she told me that I should get a gig as a food photographer. HaHa I told her that anyone can take amazing pictures of food because it is the easiest subject to photograph. Dinner and Dessert plates are not squirmy nor do they get cranky or require much direction. So here is my ode to the real artists- the chefs/cooks/bakers of the world. Thanks for making my life so much more delicious!
