A week ago I was given the absolute pleasure of taking family photos for my good friends Mindy and Ray-along with the rest of Mindy’s side of the family. It was seriously a blast! We went down to the Mission Inn on a Friday afternoon- it was beautiful. The Mission Inn had already been decorated for the Christmas Holiday season and the colors were bright and beautiful. What a beautiful family and so much fun to photograph! Thanks guys for such a great afternoon. I had soo much fun! I had sooooo many favorites from this shoot- it was super hard to choose- needless to say- this post maybe a lil long……..I can’t help it- I love them all!

The tables were turned on me this last weekend as it was my turn to be in the bridal party- instead of the one shooting it. It was a great day! My sister was beautiful, Jason was extremely handsome in his tux, the ceremony was exceptional. Everything turned out just as it should. Sure there were a few unseen complications but over all it was a very memorable day. A quick shout out to the best man Jon- who was such a huge help! Both of the groomsmen as well as my fellow bridesmaid Abbey were awesome! Ha ha my two “lil” brothers were very handsome- you lil heartbreakers! Thanks to them we had a very entertaining slide show! Dang this starting to sound more and more like and acceptance speech at the Oscars!
Anyways…..In conclusion ha ha, I am very happy for my sister as well as my new brother-in-law Jason. I wish the two of them only the best! I had hoped to get more of my own images from that day but I was entirely way to busy. It’s ok though, I left such a task in the capable hands of my good friends Mark and Audrey.  I did get a few shots in though! See more pics of Jason and Patti on their big day at Mark’s Blog site.

Drew and Heather

November 9, 2008

A couple of weekends ago I was given the absolute pleasure of working with my good friends Mark and Audrey of Mark Lopez Photography.  Drew and Heather were married at Green Mountain Ranch a beautiful location in the foothills just a couple of miles above the Inland Empire. This couple was truely beautiful from the inside out! Heather and I also soon after starting shooting remembered that we had both worked at Alpine Camp and Conference Center in Blue Jay! What a small world! The ceremony was one of the best that I have seen! Here are some of my favorites from the day! Congrats Drew and Heather! Oh and to see more check out Mark’s blog site as well.

Tea Party

October 11, 2008

I used to fear when I was young, that as I grew older my days of play would pass away like most other things we do as children. If any one of you know me at all- you probably know that my fear was never confirmed. I love to play- and try to do so as much as possible! This past saturday I had the honor of throwing my lil sister’s bridal shower. We played tea party all day long. It was great! Thanks again to my Mother, Ouma and Juliet for all of your help. I could not have done it without you. So here is a few shots from the day. Looking at the photos from this day made me realize what a beautiful bride Patti is gonna be!

Baby Brayden

September 1, 2008

Last week I was given the absolute honor of taking Brayden’s first pictures. Brayden is the first born son of my very good friends Jen and Jeremy. He is a beautiful baby! I can’t wait to watch him grow up. Congrats Jen and Jeremy- I know that God has truley blessed this small child by giving him the parents that he did.

Baby Logan

August 19, 2008

A couple of weeks ago- my friend Shana asked me to come and take some photos of her and her children- all inclusive. Baby Logan has yet to make his appearance but already he is very photogenic! This really should not come as a surprise, seeing that the entire family is amazingly photogenic. Obviously that then makes my job easy. So here it is- Shana and her beautiful family. Thanks for a great shoot! It was seriously a ton of fun!

Jason and Patti

July 28, 2008

So this next post is especially significant to me as I was given the honor of shooting for my sister and her fiance Jason. In a few short months I will have gained another brother!
A couple of weeks ago, on an especially hot july day, Jason, Patti, and I went down to the Mission Inn to do some engagement photos. We encountered some memorable shenanigans along the way but still had a great time at this beautiful location. Congrats to you both! I am excited for both the months and years to come.

Tailor Made

July 24, 2008

Jen has been a good friend of mine for quite some time now. She is one of the most amazing women that I know.  I have been so blessed to have her as well as her husband Jeremy in my life! Well now two is going to be three! A couple of weeks ago we had a baby shower for Jen and Jeremy’s first child. It was a great day! I wish the best to you both as you bring your first baby into the world. I know that you both will be awesome parents!

Last photo by Andrea Bernard the next up and coming! haha

So last week two of my long time flings finally met. Yes- it was a little tense at first but finally after all this time work and play hung out together. They actually got along really well. In fact at times it is hard to distinguish one from the other they are so similar!

If you haven’t already heard, let me tell you about the amazing people that I work with on the Loma Linda Pediatric Critical Care Transport Team. They are the very definition of a team. I love them! They are all intelligent, dedicated and hard working. They are pretty much just amazing people! I learn so much from them and lean on them all the time!

So we took our team pictures and, of course, I got way too excited and decided to break out my camera and call it a transport shoot! We had a great time with our AMR crew as well as our Mercy Air boys! When ever I am flying out on a call it always hits me what an amazing job I have. I mean…. who gets to do this!  So check it out, an quick insight into of the life of a transport RN including- the view from the heli-pad as well as the flight suits in all their glory (they are ever so stylish!)

I know its been awhile since my last post……but rest assured this one is gonna be awesome!!!!! I am so excited to introduce you to this baby with whom you will all easily fall in love with! Lil Oliver is one serious dude! He is very deep and pensive in his baby ways! It has been said that he is very much his father’s son. However he must have picked up his mother photographical side- because he was glued to the camera and working it the entire time!! Ok with out further ado- Here is baby Oliver- the latest love of my life!
Sorry got a bit carried away- Its gonna be a long post!

Look at him getting flirty!
